CHEER CAMP!

This past week we had an At Home UCA Cheer Camp.
It was 3 days of fun, hard work! We CHEERED, DANCED,
STUNTED, and BONDED.
I think this was a GREAT START to our new season.
We are looking forward to our first performance and to all of the
fun we will have during football, especially since we now have STUNT MEN
who have been working on lifting and tossing the flyers.
They are a fun, cute, good bunch of guys.
It's so EXCITING!

Our UCA instructors, Olivia and Alex -
Layin' it down!

She is SOOOO CUTE!

Superior Ribbons/Trophys for our Cheer and Extreme Routine!
It was a great learning experience and lots of fun for all the girls and guys!
In just a few short moments,
we are going to throw down, show down and otherwise knock you down
with a thunderous burst of CHEERS, jumps, and tumbling!
And THEN, as if that wasn't enough, We will pop in a few amazing stunts to really show you
how it's supposed to be done!
We Believe!
We Succeed!
We WIN!

Caitlin's Black Eye!

Caitlin's black eye that she got when a girls' head came in contact with her face during the SHS girls bball tournament last weekend. She shot the winning basket in one game (double overtime, sudden death) that ended their 2 year loosing streak - her coach called her black eye "frickin' awesome!"

Thank You, Callie!

WOLVES CHEER
was so LUCKY to have Pro Body Builder,
CALLIE MARUNDE
visit and share her time, talent and knowledge with us!
For the two days that she was here, she put the cheerleaders
through some hardcore workouts, along with discussing with them
good nutrition to fuel athletic bodies and the importance of strength
training to avoid injury.
Mike Dashiell from The Sequim Gazette stopped by to pay us a visit and
take pix.
Even Kim and I got in on the action, flipping tires, doing
sideways bear crawls and push ups.
It was a fun experience and a great way to start our conditioning for the
summer. We are looking forward to seeing Callie again and
showing her how we've improved in our workouts and in our core strength.
THANK YOU, CALLIE
for taking time out during your visit to Sequim
to come and show the cheerleaders a thing or two about fitness.
Everyone had fun and enjoyed getting to know you!
